Information has been received by Acting Chief Constable Faulkner, Chesterfield, that ex-Police-constable Michael Boyle has died of wounds. On joining the Derbyshire Constabulary, Boyle, whose home is in Ireland, was stationed at Heanor, and afterwards at Staveley. From the latter place he joined early in 1916 the regiment of Yeomen raised by the Earl of Faversham, and attained the rank of sergeant
